Mindy Predicts: Bachelor Nick Viall and Vanessa Grimaldi’s Wedding

Bachelor Nick & Vanessa right after the proposal

Hi friends! If you know me, you know I’m obsessed with ABC’s The Bachelor (and The Bachelorette)! One of my favorite things to do after the finale is envision what the engaged couple’s wedding might look like. After having the honor of planning weddings for Sean and Catherine, Ashley and JP, and Trista and Ryan it’s become a bit of a tradition for me to predict the winning couple’s wedding style.

My, was this quite a season! At the end of his “journey” Bachelor Nick Viall ended up giving his final rose to Canada-native Vanessa Grimaldi. Wasn’t the proposal so sweet? While the couple certainly had that fairytale romance, they were pretty down to earth when it came to the fears and logistics of their modern relationship. Which is why I think their wedding will be just that: super modern but with some traditional twists.

This Wedding Paper Divas invite could be perfect for Bachelor Nick & Vanessa

A gorgeous wedding in a swanky loft or refurbished warehouse space would be perfect for  Bachelor Nick and Vanessa. Because family is so important to her, I bet the event will take place somewhere in Montreal so they can all attend. Vanessa’s beloved students could also play a small role in the ceremony! Imagine lots of geometric lanterns, interesting architectural accents and lush florals and greens hanging from the ceiling to glam things up a bit. A stylish invitation like the above Ultramodern Brushstrokes design from Wedding Paper Divas with rose gold foil accents would convey the chic theme to guests.

The food is where I envision a more traditional twist. I’m thinking we’ll see lots of Italian classics on the menu to pay homage to Vanessa’s heritage – and her love for food! Think one of the Grimaldi family’s Sunday lunches, but on a larger and more formal scale. Metal chairs and sleek tablescapes would amp up that industrial vibe.

What do you think is in store for Nick and Vanessa’s wedding?
