Hello friends! One of my favorite things to feature at a kids’ party, shower, after party, or really any celebration, is an ice cream sundae bar. It’s a really fun, easy way to add some interest at an event and get your guests (big and small!) engaged. Plus, who doesn’t love ice cream?!
Check out my full video below to see exactly how to get this done, but here are a few quick tips:
- Change it up with some color! Feel free to go wild with all sorts of colorful toppings and glassware. To amp it up, I placed the toppings in a bowl on top of some Pantone postcards, coordinating the colors of course! You can find those adorable Pantone cards here.
- Place everything on neutral kraft paper to really let the colors pop. Then you can simply label all the sundae ingredients with a nice marker instead of using any signage.
- There’s no need to rent any equipment for this – just set everything up on a flat surface. A bar area, countertop, coffee table or even the ground for the kiddos would work perfectly fine.
- Pre-scoop your ice cream on to any sort of fun plate you might have and place it closest to the bowls. A word of caution: keep that ice cream in the freezer right up until you’re ready to serve or you’ll end up with a melted mess on your hands!
