What a game-changer 2020 has been in the world of weddings! So many couples have unfortunately had their plans disrupted by COVID-19. And while some have decided to postpone their big day, others have instead opted to re-imagine their mid-pandemic celebration in a new way. That’s exactly the choice my wonderful clients, Kelly and Mike, made. They took the plunge with an intimate, romantic garden micro wedding. We managed to pull together a truly unforgettable celebration, with a teeny tiny guest list, sprinkled with pretty details that made it extra special. And while this was a different day to the one they’d originally envisioned, it was still just as beautiful, joyful and profound. Proof if ever you needed it that love ALWAYS wins!
The bride wore an exquisite floral lace wedding gown by Israeli designer, Mira Zwillinger. She paired it with classic pearls, sparkly gold Jimmy Choos, and the most gorgeous long embellished veil. It looked like it had been dusted with blossoms or snowflakes!
The groom selected a classic black tux – very dashing!
The VIP guest list? It’s safe to say that adding their four-legged friend may have caused a little lack of social distancing, but sometimes it’s okay to break the rules (as long as you’re safe!).
A lavish abundance of blooms was an important part of the look we created for this micro wedding. The bride carried a magnificent pink bouquet of orchids, peonies, and roses. It smelled like heaven!
Don’t you just adore the floral chuppah? It made a wonderful statement piece for the ceremony, photos, and cutting the cake!
Speaking of cake, we just had to have one for this micro wedding! A chic single tier white creation, topped with pink and white roses.
One of the things that makes a micro wedding so special is the way that it distills the day down to its very essence: two people in love and the commitment they make to one another.
Hope this romantic micro wedding inspires you if you’re planning your own ceremony during Coronavirus! Congratulations again to the gorgeous couple!
xoxo,
Mindy
