When Mindy began her career in stationery more than 20 years ago, her clients recognized her creativity and flair for design. At their urging, she officially opened Mindy Weiss Party Consultants in 1992.
Today, Mindy and her team are known for planning some of the most high-profile celebrations in the world. The MWPC team has designed unforgettable weddings, baby showers and parties for clients like Ciara & Russell Wilson, Ellen DeGeneres & Portia DeRossi, Sofia Vergara & Joe Manganiello, Channing Tatum & Russell Wilson, Heidi Klum, Pink, and even members of the Kardashian family. If you’re a fan of ABC’s “The Bachelor” like Mindy is, her team planned Trista & Ryan's, J.P. and Ashley’s, and Sean & Catherine's show-stopping weddings, which were all featured on ABC. Her clients love her calm demeanor, ingenious ideas and her ability to bring any vision to life. Whether it’s a dinner for two or a big blowout for thousands, Mindy and her team have a knack for making their clients’ dreams come true.
In addition to designing stylish and remarkable events, Mindy has expanded into the world of lifestyle to help her fans and fellow event planners in their own pursuit of creating memorable events. She’s written three best-selling books – The Wedding Book, The Wedding Planner and The Baby Keepsake Book and Planner, designed a highly successful line of wedding stationery with Shutterfly, launched a line of foldable flats with Rollasole, and has even created her own wedding day emergency kits and much more.
In her spare time, Mindy loves spending time with her family, making trips to the flea market (where she gets much of her inspiration), writing her blog, and Instagramming away at @mindyweiss.
Mindy is based in Beverly Hills but brings events to life all over the world.
