As winter finally draws to a close, my thoughts are turning to spring. Breeze weather, budding flowers, and that delicious feeling of rebirth and renewal. Spring is also a beautiful time of year to get married and to begin the adventure of marriage together. There are so many wonderful ways to celebrate the season through your wedding details and décor, and that doesn’t necessarily mean opting for a classic pastel palette! Here are some sweet (and fresh!) spring wedding ideas to consider.
A fresh floral aisle. Make your ceremony feel like a spring meadow by lining the aisle with an abundance of fresh blooms. The more natural the arrangements, the better!
Whimsical crockery. Give your table a touch of English country garden charm by using pretty plates in floral or vintage prints. This looks particularly lovely for a spring wedding when placed on a simple raw wood table with lush floral centerpieces.
Flower decked bar. The bar is the most popular spot at the reception. So give it some extra love by making it a gorgeous floral feature like a trellis decked with blooms. It’s a fitting way to bring in some garden vibes, especially if you also serve spring-fresh cocktails!
Enchanted garden bridal fashion. The 2020 bridal collections were packed with beautiful garden-inspired gowns. From floral embellishments and prints to embroidered butterfly motifs, designers went all in with secret garden fashion. It’s the perfect look for a spring bride.
Coachella inspired details. For a contemporary twist on spring wedding ideas, look to April’s famed Coachella festival. Think boho luxe with a Palm Springs desert vibe. For example, pampas grass, succulents, and touches of macrame. And how about prickly pear cocktails and a DIY floral crown bar at the reception?
Floral escorts. Spring is all about celebrating nature and you can bring that to little details like your escort card display. For example, tie seating assignments to little lavender posies that also serve as a favor and can be worn by the gents through the evening.
Spring swings. Is there anything more delightful than a flower-decked swing? Place it where guests can enjoy it during cocktail hour. It also makes a great Insta-worthy photo feature and can double as a photo booth.
Now, don’t these spring wedding ideas add a spring to your step?
