I know I’ve talked a lot lately about the Engage!18 wedding industry summits but the ideas are just too good not to share. Today I want to show you a new wedding idea that looks so chic and can be used for any type of party, not just a wedding. Die cut wedding details (or laser cut) can be used for so much more than just place cards or invitations, but for a variety of touch points in the design of the day.

The team at Two Paper Dolls designed these paper details for a gala that was winter white themed. The centerpieces were surrounded by paper cutouts and scenes of the Canadian Rockies, where the event took place. Even the menus and escort cards were intricately crafted and cut out too.

At this party, paper cutouts were literally used from floor to ceiling. Paper feathers hung around the chandeliers above the dance floor to fill the sky!

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

The escort cards were maple leaves (another nod to the destination) and table numbers matched the theme perfectly.

From kids’ parties to formal weddings, you can cut paper into any theme as classic or colorful as you’d like and the result is a layered look guests will love. This all white palette was anything but simple with wonderfully done die cut wedding details.
