There are many opportunities to personalize your wedding or weave a theme or motif through it. However, one of my favorites has to be the escort card display. This is what guests will encounter after the ceremony and during the cocktail hour. And, while you can choose to have a seating chart instead, escort cards add a little something special. Escort cards are not only a useful tool to direct guests to their tables, they can also serve as an installation, an interactive display, or even favors. So it’s always worth giving some thought and creativity into how you put together your escort card display. After all, it’s an element that will always draw your guests’ attention, so why not make it beautiful and memorable? To give you some inspiration, I’ve gathered ten escort card display ideas from some of our recent weddings. Which is your favorite?

Never enough flowers! I absolutely loved this striking escort card display wall surrounded by beautiful blooms, with a floral print backdrop, as well as floral detailing on the cards themselves. Perfect for a garden wedding!

Classic white calligraphed escort cards are taken to the next level with this exuberant display of white florals and lush garden greenery. The different heights of the arrangements and card groupings also add additional visual interest.

Talk about sitting pretty! Classic tented escort cards look oh-so-lovely placed on clear boxes filled with roses! It makes the setup just that bit more interesting than arranging them all on the table directly.
Start the evening as you mean to go on – with tequila! These little bottles customized with guests’ names and table numbers led the way to the tables (and the party!)

This was another classic escort card display with a twist. In this case, we traded in standard tented cards for round escort cards. I love how clean and modern the results are, reflecting those white cylinder vases.
A rustic lakeside wedding calls for a rustic statement escort card display. The guests loved finding their seats and we loved creating it!

For this fantasy wedding in Las Vegas, we used die-cut Wisteria seating cards that reflected the incredible floral displays at the ceremony and reception.

At this wedding, each guest found their name printed on an escort card, tucked into a mini envelope. The pattern was repeated throughout the wedding, including on the custom dance floor!

Now this was unique! For this Miramar wedding, we commissioned a custom mural. On either side, escort cards were hung in neat formation for an escort card display that was both modern and personal.

Sometimes a classic display is all you need, especially when the display is styled to reflect the design of the reception with a variety of china vases, flowers, and dozens of candles.
