Just when you’ve found the perfect gift to celebrate Mother’s Day, you blink and Father’s Day is just around the corner. This year, we’ll be celebrating on June 19th. So now is the perfect time to start thinking of gifts for the dads in your life. Not to mention that gifting for fathers can be a challenge. Especially if yours is one of those men who say “nothing” when asked what they want to receive! The good news is that, with a little thought, you don’t have to resort to socks and sweaters (again). Here are a few Father’s Day gift ideas to get you started.
Subscription Box. What could be better than a gift that keeps on giving throughout the year? There are so many great subscription boxes available these days, you’ll find something to delight your dad no matter what he likes. Fresh meat? Beef jerky? Craft beer? Wine? Pickles? There’s a subscription option (or several) for all of them. Even socks!
Puzzle. Some people got into puzzles in a big way during the pandemic. If your dad’s one of them, give him a brand new puzzle to immerse himself in. Better yet, offer to do it with him. It’s a really fun, undemanding way to spend time together.
The Baby Keepsake Book and Planner. Somehow, it’s often only moms who get keepsake books as a gift, but of course dads have treasured memories to keep too! Packing Cubes. With travel back on the cards, it’s time to start pulling out the luggage and taking a trip or two. Packing cubes are simply the best way to pack – once you’ve tried them you’ll never go back!
Temperature Control Mug. There’s nothing worse than having than pouring a perfect cup of coffee to start the day, only to find it’s cooled while you stepped out of the room for a minute. This clever little device (which even syncs to an app) makes sure dad’s drinks are always at the temperature he wants them.
Digital Tile. If your dad is the kind who’s always losing his keys, wallet, or phone, he’ll love this nifty little finder tile that pairs with an app and will help to locate what he needs quickly and easily.
Scented candle. Because dads deserve pampering too! My fragranced candles use the power of aromatherapy to ground and relieve stress. There’s a range of scents, but one that’s often popular with men is the DARK candle, which has a smokey musk scent that’s super relaxing but not floral.
Custom Leather Watch Case. If he has a favorite or heirloom timepiece, give him a suitably luxurious place to keep it. A personalized leather watch case is a great idea or, if he’s a bit more of a collector, give him a larger watch case with a monogram or special message.
Weighted blanket. Not only will a weighted blanket help him to get to sleep more easily, it’ll actually improve the quality of his sleep so he wakes up more rested.
