In what has been a challenging year for all of us, it feels especially important to celebrate every happy moment. Last week was one for me when I was named Best Wedding Planner at the 2020 Elle International Bridal Awards. Wow! I am so thankful and excited to receive this incredible honor! Thank you Elle!!!

This fourth edition of the Elle International Bridal Awards was presented on September 21st by the Elle network of publications, together with Valmont Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week. For the first time, the ceremony took place digitally, so viewers from around the world were able to be part of the event. The presenters included eleven Elle Bridal editors, including the lovely Eunmi Chae, Editor in Chief of Elle Korea, who announced the Best Wedding Planner award. Twelve different categories were presented, including the Best Bridal Collection (won by Oscar de la Renta for their Spring 2020 collection) and Best Honeymoon Resort. Danielle Frankel picked up the prize for best new talent, while the amazing Elie Saab won a lifetime achievement award. I am certainly honored to be in such great company!

I truly believe that generosity always comes back. If you are generous with your love, it returns to you in so many wonderful ways. That’s why an award like this means far more to me than just something to put on my shelf. It has always been my dream to help others to create and make memories, and just knowing that I have brought some happiness, love, and beauty to those around me means the world, especially at a time like this.

Of course, I wouldn’t be able to do what I do without the support of my incredible team. I want to thank them for everything they do – all the events at Mindy Weiss Party Consultants are a massive group effort! Thank you so much also to the Elle team for organizing the awards and recognizing all of our hard work.
