10 Delightful Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

For many moms, May 9th will be the second Mother’s Day that Coronavirus restrictions mean having to spend the day away from their children. For others, it’s been a rough year of homeschooling and balancing childcare with working from home. It feels more important than ever to show the women in our lives how much they mean to us. Whether you’re looking for a treat for your mother, a friend, spouse, mother-figure, or even yourself, here are ten great mother’s day gift ideas. Happy shopping!

The Baby Keepsake Book and Planner. My baby keepsake book and planner is a must for any mom or mom-to-be. What makes it special is that it’s in a binder, so she can keep just the pages she wants and discard the rest. It includes tabbed dividers and pockets, as well as 104 full-color pages filled with checklists, advice, and memories to record. It’s the gift that keeps on giving after the baby is born too!

Scented candle. What mom doesn’t deserve some relaxation and stress relief? These fragranced candles will help her chill out, especially if you’re able to arrange for her to spend some me-time enjoying a long, hot bath or a good book.

Stylish loungewear. Over the last year, loungewear has become the new little black dress! She deserves to be comfortable at home, but that doesn’t mean she has to sacrifice style. There are many gorgeous lounge sets available in super-soft fabrics that are easy to wear. She’ll never want to take them off!

Weighted blanket. If there’s anyone who needs (and deserves!) a good night’s sleep, it’s a mother! Weighted blankets are a hot trend, and they’re great for lulling anyone to sleep. You can also choose between warm blankets and cooling ones for warmer climates and summer months.

Luxury gardening tools. Lots of people have found pleasure in their indoor and outdoor gardens over the last year. Gift her with a designer pair of gardening gloves, a fancy watering can, or some special tools. And don’t forget some hand cream to ease those gardener’s hands!

Farmer’s Market gourmet gift basket. If she can’t make it to the farmer’s market, then bring the market to her! Various gourmet gift baskets are available online or you could create one yourself. Include a variety of yummy local produce as well as some fresh flowers.

Vintage clutch. A mother as special as yours deserves a one-of-a-kind gift. And you don’t even need to go out searching for the perfect piece. You can now purchase vintage bags and clutches curated from my own collection in the shop. Each one is an heirloom piece to treasure.

Pure silk pillowcase. Sleeping on a silk pillowcase is the best option for keeping hair frizz-free and it helps with skin aging too. Plus it also feels super luxurious and indulgent! Only the best for your mom.

Magazine subscription. If your mom has a favorite magazine, why not give her a subscription? From lifestyle to hobbies to current affairs, there are so many titles available that you’re sure to find one that suits her interests. And you’re helping keep the medium alive!

Flower subscription box. Another great subscription option is a monthly flower delivery. (So much better than a single bouquet!) Every month it’s sure to light up her day and remind her how much you love her.

I hope these mother’s day gift ideas have inspired you. Here’s wishing all the moms out there a VERY special day!

xoxo,
Mindy
