Valentine’s Day Gift Guide (for Everyone You Love!)

Valentine’s Day is right around the corner and there’s never been a time when we’re all more deserving of a little celebration of love and joy. But what to get the special people in your life? Whether it’s your significant other, a future bride or groom, an engaged couple, family, or friends, there are lots of great ways to show you care. Here are just a few thoughtful Valentine’s Day gift ideas. including some of my favorites from my shop. And to make it even simpler, I’ve broken down these Valentine’s Day gift ideas by recipient.

For Brides

The Wedding Book. This book has everything a bride (or groom!) could need to get started on planning their wedding. No matter the budget, taste, or vision, they’ll find advice on everything from getting engaged to preserving the bouquet after the big day.

Vintage Clutch. What woman of style doesn’t love a gorgeous purse? My shop has range of one-of-a-kind vintage bags and clutches curated from my own collection. For example, this Valentine-red early ’70s silk clutch with white beading lined in luxurious pink silk.

Rhinestone Shoe Applique “I Do”. These rhinestone adhesives make a fun gift for a bride-to-be. They go on the bottom of a bridal heel and also make for a great‘something blue’!

Robe. A beautiful, luxurious robe always makes for a lovely gift and can be used by a bride on her wedding morning or honeymoon. Plum Pretty Sugar has matching bridal party sets too!

For Grooms

Dance Lessons. Many grooms feel nervous and shy about taking the lead on the dance floor with all eyes on them at their wedding reception. Dance lessons will not only help to give him extra confidence, but will make for a fun (and romantic!) activity a couple can do together.

Special Accessory. If there’s a special accessory that would be the perfect finishing touch to his groom’s attire, this is a great time to gift it. For example, cufflinks, a handkerchief or pocket square, tie pin, or watch. If the gift is for your partner, be sure to add a note saying how excited you are to see him wear it on your big day!

Honeymoon Upgrade. If you already know where you’re going on your honeymoon, why not give him something he can enjoy there? For example, an activity or special meal, or a flight upgrade.

New Luggage. Another great honeymoon-related gift that will be useful for years to come is a new piece of stylish luggage. Make it extra personal by adding a monogram or personalized leather luggage tag.
