2024 Wedding Ideas Using Pantone’s Color of the Year

Every year since 1999, Pantone has selected a color of the year, and this upcoming year is set to be one of warmth. Peach Fuzz, or more specifically, Pantone 13-1023, is a soft peach tone that is a calm mix between gentle oranges and pinks. What does that mean for weddings? I have some ideas on how you can use Pantone’s color of the year in your big day.

Bridal Party Attire

If you want just dashes of the color of the year here and there, bridal party attire is a fantastic way to mix in a splash of peach fuzz. You can choose to have your bridal party all in the same dress to keep the color exact. Or specially pick dresses for each bridesmaid to make sure everything is cohesive.

Tip: If you plan to mix up styles, choose an initial dress and bring it with you as you shop. This will help you make sure the colors stay as closely matched as you want them to be.

Rugs, Carpets, and Seating

Whether you want to go all in with Pantone 13-1023, or just want a touch of color in the décor, it all adds to your wedding vibes. From a soft seating area decked out in peach fuzz to a carpet here and there, anything is possible.

Another simple way to incorporate the color is by having your table runner and seat covers in matching peach fuzz.

Signature Glitter Cocktails

Color is important even in the smallest details to keep your day aesthetically pleasing. Another great way to add a splash of the warm orangey-pink color is in your drinks! Mixing a special cocktail for your guests to enjoy is a classy way to incorporate a bit more of your theme.

Tip: For an extra wow factor, make the cocktails shimmer.

Dramatic Entrance

If you plan to fully commit to peach fuzz as the main color of your wedding day, incorporate it in a dramatic decorative entrance to your venue. Picture a brilliant floral arch decked out in the warm orangey-pink tone. Add some greenery to balance out the look and make the color stand out even more.

Or, if florals aren’t your cup of tea, go for a decorative arch made out of everything but flowers. This could include textiles, glimmering gems, or even balloons.

Silk Drapery

Perfect décor for a soft and luxurious space is silk drapery. The warmth of the Pantone color of the year is a great match for a space draped in peach fuzz silk. Couple this background with some soft lighting, and you’ll have a dreamy space that will be sure to wow your guests.

I am absolutely in love with Pantone’s color of the year and can’t wait to work it into some weddings in 2024. Will you be including peach fuzz in your wedding color palette?

xoxo,

Mindy
