Hot 2019 Kids Party Themes

hot-kids-party-themesI love a good themed party – whether for kids or adults! Planning a party with a very specific theme means we can get really creative with ideas that scream the theme. When planning your child’s upcoming event, if you’re in need of a little inspiration, consider these hot 2019 kids party themes.

These happy themes set the tone for lots of fun and celebration to come!

Ice Cream Social: Who doesn’t love a good ice cream party? I’m getting more requests to celebrate with this sweet treat. Did you know it was National Ice Cream Day earlier this month? That may have upped the demand! Whether you scream ice cream at home or at an ice cream parlor, this idea is always a hit. One of my favorite brands of paper goods, Meri Meri, even makes an ice cream themed suite to outfit your event for the chilly celebration.

Butterflies and Birthdays: I can’t take credit for this recent trend. My granddaughter, Goldie wanted butterflies on her birthday this year. I had so much fun finding ways to weave these beauties into playful and kid-friendly decor (stay tuned for the party photos to come). Butterfly themes can be brightly colored or monochromatic in her favorite hues. Think teals, pinks and purples too!

Under the Sea: A nod to a Disney classic that never goes out of style is an “under the sea” themed fete. Whether you take a mermaid twist or opt for more masculine sea life, there’s education and fun to be had at parties that take place below sea level.

Into the Wild: With the new release of The Lion King, kids are celebrating with their favorite wild animals once again. From animal prints to furry friends from far off lands, this theme works well not only for kids parties but baby showers too.

Rainbows: Colorful parties aren’t just for kids. I’m working with engaged couples asking for bright pops of color in their big day too. A rainbow palette is however especially popular among the littles these days. Anything that screams celebration enhances the level of fun to be had and happiness all around. And color is a quick way to achieve exactly that!

If you’re looking for ways to celebrate your little one, these are a few fun ideas. But remember, inspiration right from the source is always a good idea too!

xoxo,

Mindy
